About the Role:
We are looking for an Android Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support innovative infotainment systems in the automotive industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Android-based systems, solving complex challenges in embedded software development for infotainment products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Create and enhance infotainment software on the Android Automotive platform.
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Analyze and resolve complex issues within Android framework internals, including system server, Package Manager, Activity Manager, and more.
  • Code Modification: Modify Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to meet specific infotainment requirements.
  • Automation Testing: Develop and implement automated test cases to validate Android integration and functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical specialists, domain architects, application teams) to build and maintain Android-based software components.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Embedded Software Development: Experience with embedded systems, ideally in automotive, mobile, or consumer electronics.
  • Android Framework Expertise: Strong knowledge of Android internals and experience debugging system-level issues.
  • Experience with AOSP: Ability to modify and extend Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to suit automotive and infotainment needs.
  • Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux or QNX operating systems.
  • System-Level Debugging: Expertise in troubleshooting issues like ANR, black screens, boot failures, binder leaks, etc.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Android Automotive platform and infotainment systems.
  • Familiarity with System Partition and Vendor Partition in the Android architecture.
