Anaplan / Workday Project Manager

Employment Type:Contract Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Job Summary: The Anaplan / Workday Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the implementation and optimization of Anaplan and Workday solutions. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and aligning project outcomes with business objectives. Responsibilities include: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of Anaplan and Workday projects. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide project updates. Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal staff and external consultants. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Solution Implementation: Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Anaplan and Workday solutions. Ensure solutions are aligned with business processes and objectives. Conduct testing and validation to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions. Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Provide training and support to end-users. Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the implementation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and user guides. Prepare and present project reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management. Required Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant experience in Project/Program Management working on large, complex, cross-functional IT initiatives utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools/approaches (PMBOK,Prince2, etc) 3+ years of experience managing full lifecycle SAFe/Agile projects including overseeing the strategy / business case development, developing the implementation plan to support the business case, and driving the implementation of the plan to deliver the final program objectives 1+ year of people management experience overseeing and mentoring numerous other PMs, Project Coordinators, etc. 3+ years of project / program financial management (e.g., Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, Business Case Development, etc.) in addition to experience in the planning, estimation, resource management, project tracking, scope control, risk and issues management as well as stakeholder relationship management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational Preferred Qualifications: MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred Certified SAFe Scrum Master/Release Train Engineers (RTE) or equivalent Experience managing projects/programs in Workday / Anaplan (minimum 2-3 years experience) Strategic and critical thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and Client's matrixed organizations Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong executive presence. Must be able to analyze, understand, and communicate complex ideas across a varied audiences, including senior Client Partners, Principals, and Managing Director leaders Experience with strategy / business case development, then developing the implementation plan to support the business case, and driving the implementation of the plan to deliver the final program objectives Strong commitment to professional client service excellence Strong knowledge of leading-edge project management methodologies Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Strong MS PowerPoint skills with proven record to create high impact audience-specific presentations. Proficient in MS Project / MS Project Server (or similar applications)
