Leidos is excited to announce a new opportunity for an Analytic Software Engineer in our National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Our innovative team excels in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. This part-time role guarantees 7-8 hours per week.

Job Summary:

Our LOE program equips our customer's Operations organization with optimal solutions for their mission needs. We accomplish this through rapid prototyping, development initiatives, and advanced technology research. Job Responsibilities/Qualifications:
  • Mission Focus: Deliver software engineering support by analyzing user requirements, developing and enhancing software prototypes, while also troubleshooting, debugging, and testing code. Sustain, maintain, enhance, and potentially rebuild a software application, including the web UI, utilized by SIGINT analysts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Must possess relevant experience in the software development process (including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming. Proficient in Django framework or comparable full-stack frameworks. Familiarity with Python modules or APIs to interact with other systems/services is required. Understanding of base structures and models, particularly for SQL/SQLite, is essential. Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems is necessary, as well as experience with Gitlab. Proficient in developing APIs.
  • Qualifications: Candidates with a High School diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree plus 7 years, a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years, a Master's degree plus 3 years, or a Doctoral degree without experience will be considered. A degree in Computer Science (CS) is required.
  • Security Clearance: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is mandatory.
  • Desirable Skills: Domain knowledge in SIGINT and SIGINT tools. Documentation experience in Gambit and Hub. Ability to work independently is a plus.
