Job Summary Brinker is seeking a tax analyst who will play a critical role in supporting the organization's tax function by ensuring compliance with all federal and state income and franchise tax regulations. This position will also assist with a broad range of responsibilities including tax provision preparation, audit defense and income tax planning. The tax analyst will also conduct research on complex tax issues, interpret current and proposed tax laws, and identify opportunities for process improvements and tax savings.Your Key Job Functions Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions. Preparation of state income and franchise tax returns for all Brinker entities. Assist with preparation of the annual federal consolidated return. Responsible for staying current with federal and state tax legislation. Assist on federal and state inquiries, tax reporting, and tax audits. Support tax planning projects and process improvements for tax reporting efficiency.What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in accounting Master's in Tax and/or CPA (preferred) 1-3+ years of related tax experience Advanced Excel skills Experience with Corptax and/or Oracle a plus Display attention to detail with consistent accuracy Strong communication skills as this position includes verbal communication to upper management and auditors.
