Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments for global clients. The role involves performing qualitative research on companies and individuals across various industries globally. Your work will support our clients' diverse business and compliance needs, ensuring they receive accurate and insightful reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparing in-depth due diligence reports, including corporate records research, directorship, regulatory, bankruptcy, and litigation checks across multiple jurisdictions.
2. Conducting risk assessments related to politically exposed persons (PEPs), their family members, and high-risk associates worldwide.
3. Utilizing advanced research tools and proprietary databases (LexisNexis, Factiva, Comply Advantage, World Compliance, World Check, Dow Jones, etc.) to gather and analyze information.
4. Evaluating various media sources, credit histories, court records, and press articles to assess both positive and negative coverage of entities and individuals.
5. Identifying potential risks such as sanctions violations, white-collar crimes, corporate fraud, money laundering, regulatory breaches, and other operational risks.
6. Conducting thorough social media screenings on individuals (employees, candidates, vendors, or clients) across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
7. Analysing online activity to identify inappropriate content, behaviors, affiliations, or risks that could impact reputation, security, or legal compliance.
8. Assessing digital footprints for indicators of extremism, substance abuse, or other harmful activities.
9. Generating detailed risk assessment reports with categorized findings to enable informed decision-making.
10. Ensuring all investigative activities comply with data privacy laws and ethical standards.
11. Enhancing existing data sources and identifying inconsistencies to maintain the highest research quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience in qualitative research, Due Diligence, or a similar role. Proficiency in utilizing various research tools and databases.

Skills Required:

1. Strong analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data from multiple sources.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey findings clearly and concisely.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
4. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Effective time management skills and close attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in using various research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
