Job Description: Analyst
The primary role of the Analyst is to support and augment Eagle River's deal origination and execution activities. This includes, but is not limited to, financial analysis and evaluation of new A&D transactions, assisting with the execution of Eagle River marketed transactions, creating and refining presentation materials, performing industry research, supporting the Managing Directors and Eagle River's technical staff in a variety of capacities and performing various ad hoc analyses. The position has a high degree of potential for upward mobility within Eagle River for the right candidate.

Reporting Relationships
The Analyst will report directly to the Managing Directors.
The Candidate
The candidate should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, knowledgeable of the oil and gas industry, capable, dependable and reputable.
Ideally, the candidate will have a demonstrable successful track record of investment banking or financial analyst experience in the oil and gas sector. A background in A&D is not required, but would be considered to be a plus.
The candidate should be prepared and able to work hard in a small team environment and be able to communicate clearly and concisely with Eagle River's Managing Directors and other staff members. In addition, the candidate should be a self-starter that is comfortable working autonomously. Some travel to meet with existing and potential clients will be required.
Compensation
Commensurate with background and experience. Includes salary, discretionary bonus and a competitive benefits package.
Necessary Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent written, communication and presentational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- 2 years of oil and gas investment banking or financial analyst experience
