Job Summary The Analyst II - Planning & Development will support the Corporate Planning team through the preparation of long-range forecasting, strategic planning, and other ad hoc analyses. The primary function will be to gather date and prepare monthly, quarterly, and long-term forecasts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Work with various departments (including Marketing, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, and Legal) to gather data and update long-range models Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to trends in operational performance and financial metrics to support long-range planning initiatives Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and the Board of Directors that summarize findings and analyses related to long-range planning and other ad hoc initiatives Work closely with Finance management to identify and implement planning process improvements and best practices Conduct variance analyses that monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets, with summarized findings Provides support to functional groups throughout the organization via ad-hoc reporting and distribution of financial information Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's degree, preferred in Economics or Finance. Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in finance or related field. Skills & Experience Strong analytical skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently Team-player attitude
