Job Summary The Marketing Analytics and Data Sciences team is leading data products and solutions to inform and empower insights that drive Marketing outcomes and business success. We are searching for an Analyst with a focus on Digital Marketing and Ecommerce to help advance that vision and as part of the data team, work with stakeholders to help inform their current initiatives and long-term roadmap with data. Job Description Analyst III, Digital Analytics will be responsible for using online and offline data and analytics to provide insights to improve the customer's online experience managing their various products and services through Comcast Business. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and technologies to effectively plan and implement digital measurement to analyze online interactions and provide data-driven opportunities to accelerate adoption of digital self-serve portals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for knowledge, a proven ability to use data to drive digital initiatives and the capability to work effectively as an individual contributor. Responsibilities: - Support stakeholder needs with: reporting, KPI definition, performance measurement, and deeper analytical insights. Achieve scale by contributing to best practices, automating processes and identifying structural needs.
- Drive analytics projects and experiments from end to end. Translate a business question into an analytical framework, efficiently produce reliable data, generate insights through analysis and effectively communicate recommended actions.
- Identify trends and find opportunities to unlock new sources of growth and customer success.
- Optimize the implementation and maintenance of digital analytics and ensure proper tagging of digital data to drive high-quality, accurate business decisions.
- Build reporting that will identify trends and opportunities to enable the broader team to understand the customer journey and path to conversion.
- Create, refine and implement models to track, analyze and report all metrics related to product initiatives and corresponding web behavior.
- Identify opportunities in online customer behavior and conversion patterns to generate A/B testing ideas.
- Utilize various data visualization tools and analysis techniques to effectively understand customer behavior, including:
- Site behavior and engagement
- Customer retention and upgrades
- Conversion analyses
- Offline systems reconciliation
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations that demonstrate bottom-line value to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders.
- Develop business cases to support acting on these insights and recommendations.
- Lead key analytics initiatives with minimal oversight by leadership team. Develop reputation as trusted analytics expert within the broader team.
- Support standard reports at weekly, monthly, quarterly or other cadences. Build superior dashboards, models, and forecasts to support business planning or other initiatives. Partner with the cross-functional team to optimize and improve existing processes. Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity.
- Take ownership seriously and hold yourself accountable to always deliver in a reliable manner that builds trust. Thrive at a fast pace and possess the ability to manage multiple work streams.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience with digital marketing and/or ecommerce to leverage in partnership with the business
- 3+ years of professional analytics or analytics-related experience and a team-player attitude, with a demonstrated track record of delivering data projects.
- Solve problems in your sleep. Apply critical thinking and a willingness to dive into the data. Ability to produce immediate value while still keeping an eye on long-term strategy and scalability.
- Deploy intermediate skills in SQL and data visualization/storytelling.
- Intermediate skills in digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics a plus
- Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Data visualization skills with Tableau or like technologies
- Experience with session replay tools like Quantum Metric
- Technical web analytics or programming knowledge is a plus
- Experience with SQL or Python is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
