Job Summary: Are you interested in joining a dynamic and growing professional organization? The Raytheon team is looking for two Scrum Masters (SM) for the
Integration Team (Martha's Vineyard) and for the Regression Team (Nantucket) within the
Deployment Agile Release Train (ART) . The mission of the Scrum Master is to facilitate and ensure the effective execution of the team priorities while fostering an environment of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability. The Scrum Master removes impediments, facilitates communication and collaboration, and supports the team in achieving their goals. They play a key role in aligning team efforts with program objectives. Additionally, the SM is a partner with the PO and will be the delegate for agreed upon scope.
Conduct standups to ensure team members are aligned and aware of team goals and potential obstacles. Lead retrospectives to discuss what went well, what could be improved, and identify actionable improvements using methods within and beyond the Customer-Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) system.
What You Will Do: - Identify and address any blockers or impediments that hinder the team's progress. Encourage and support the team in self-organizing and taking ownership of their work.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring that stakeholder needs and feedback are communicated to the team.
- Participate in ART (Agile Release Train) meetings to raise concerns, discuss blockers, and coordinate dependencies with other teams and the RTE (Release Train Engineer). Ensure that dependencies are actively managed and blockers are removed to keep the PI (Program Increment) on schedule.
- Facilitate discussions on process improvements and ensure that significant improvements requiring team resources are discussed with the Chief RTE.
- Provide regular updates on team performance, impediments, and progress to the RTE and other relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and mutual respect. Address and resolve conflicts within the team to maintain a healthy working environment.
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience leading a technical effort
- Execution of technical, cost and schedule performance
- Track record of meeting business and program planning dates
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer: - Prior experience in integrating capabilities
- Prior experience running or supporting integration tests such as pairwise tests
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements
- Prior experience with the AN/TPY-2 System and/or Missile Defense programs
- Experience supporting hiring activities, including interviews and staffing planning
- Knowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development practice
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, process refinement, and innovation
- Promotes cross-team collaboration and training
- Demonstrates initiative and curiosity
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and metrics
- Existing DoD Security Clearance
- PhD/Master Degree of Engineering, or relevant discipline (Math, Physics or Business)

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
