Alliance Marketing Manager
The Role:
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Alliance Marketing Manager to drive the planning and execution of IGEL Global/Tier 1 and Alliance Marketing events. Reporting to our Director of Global Events, this role requires a hands-on approach to event logistics, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure impactful brand experiences and successful lead generation. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and results-driven marketing professional with a passion for delivering best-in-class event experiences that support business unit goals.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida (hybrid)
Average 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the creative and strategic planning of both new and recurring proprietary, industry, and ecosystem events.
- Develop event programs that align with overall marketing objectives and business unit priorities.
- Global Event Logistics Management:
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including speaker coordination, attendee management, content development, branding, promotion, collateral, swag, shipping, printing, technical requirements, calendar coordination, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Ensure flawless execution of each event, meeting quality, engagement, and branding standards.
- Ecosystem Alliance Marketing
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with IGEL ecosystem partners, including co-marketing campaigns, promotions, webinars, and in-person events.
- Budget & Expense Tracking:
- Manage the annual events budget, maintaining up-to-date and accurate expense tracking.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maximizing event impact.
- Lead Capture & Follow-Up Optimization:
- Develop and execute lead capture strategies to ensure high-quality attendee engagement.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to implement effective post-event follow-up processes.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination:
- Manage external vendors as needed to enhance event presence, streamline planning, and optimize budget utilization.
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with brand expectations and event objectives.
- Innovation & Brand Engagement:
- Continuously introduce new engagement and branding ideas to elevate brand presence and enhance attendee experience.
- Leverage industry trends and emerging event technologies to drive innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with brand-specific marketing teams to develop and execute events that align with individual business unit goals.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and sponsors to enhance event effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in tech event marketing, alliance marketing, or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing and executing events of various sizes and formats.
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with lead capture tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation systems preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for event execution.
