Details Albany Manager of Dining Services Operations Dietary - Albany Full Time Status Day Shift Pay: $43596.80 - $65416.00 / year Summary Works under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition and Dining Services. Oversees and Manages operations for Meal Production, Utility, Cafeteria and Store Room. Directs and works with personnel and vendors in procuring, preparing, and serving food, according to established timelines. Oversees food preparation, portion sizes and overall presentation of food. Assures compliance with food quality and sanitation standards. Manages the needs of the business as related to staff, training, purchasing, receiving, sales, and cost. Strives to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Must be willing to be on call and/or work extended hours when necessary. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition and Dining Services and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Assists, coordinates, and supervises workload of Dining Services caregivers to meet established timelines, food quality, plate presentation, garnishing and sanitation. Management of staff activities including recruiting; selecting; orienting; training; coaching; counseling; disciplining and scheduling. Achieves financial objectives by monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; maintaining inventories, reducing overstock and limiting loss. Investigate and resolve patient and guest complaints regarding food quality or service in a timely manner. Ensures compliance with department standards, Food Code, and City Department of Health. Maintains quality control of department through daily inspections, taste testing, food and refrigerator temperatures. Maintain operation and cleanliness of department equipment and establishes and monitors customer service standards. Other duties as assigned Qualifications All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. High School Diploma required. Driver's License - Valid And In State required; Certified Dietary Manager within 1 year of hire is required. 3 years experience in food production and service required. 5 years management experience preferred.
