Compensation:

  • The pay for this position is $23.36 per hour

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

  • The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • This is an onsite, safety-sensitive position

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper communication for intrusion and fire alarm systems

  • Manage SmartSheet and share validation details with other departments

  • Validate that alarm systems are reporting on the correct phone lines

  • Perform technical troubleshooting with store contacts

  • Program outbound dial parameters and verify alarm panels accept phone system changes

  • Coordinate with alarm service companies to schedule maintenance

  • Support Burglary, Fire Alarm, and Access systems across CVS retail stores

  • Troubleshoot alarm system issues in conjunction with the Central Station Monitoring team

Requirements:

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)

  • Preferred: 2-year Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in alarm system installation and/or servicing

  • Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) and training in alarm systems preferred

  • Factory training and hands-on experience with Honeywell, Bosch, and DMP alarm control equipment strongly desired

  • Must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively

  • Familiarity with alarm systems, phone line configuration, and call center support operations
