Shift: A.M. shift, P.M. shift

Job Overview: Are you ready to take your customer service skills to the next level and lead a dynamic team at the airport? As an Airport Customer Service Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional service to passengers while ensuring smooth and safe operations for all airport activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a dedicated team to ensure safe and efficient airport operations.
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols in line with OSHA/TSA/DOT regulations and Unifi policies.
  • Manage shift schedules, including assignment of workstations, training, and employee time-off requests.
  • Enforce company policies and promote a positive workplace culture, including addressing employee relations issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding operational challenges and team performance.
  • Lead and conduct daily shift meetings to align team members on goals and expectations.
  • Assist in payroll administration and maintain accurate shift paperwork.
  • Engage directly with passengers during arrival and check-in, providing support for special needs and addressing concerns.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Local resident with a valid in-state driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain necessary airport identification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • More than four years of relevant experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to resolve employee conflicts effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities that positively impact operations.
Working Conditions:

Your schedule will be flexible, requiring you to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime in a shift bid environment. You will be working in an active airport setting, so preparedness for changing weather conditions and the presence of moving vehicles and aircraft is essential.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly, and 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Frequent walking, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Capability to assist passengers with heavy luggage, including navigating jetway stairs.
