CTS International is seeking a highly skilled Airframe Integration & Verification Engineer to contribute to the cutting-edge T-7 platform in the St. Louis, MO region. This role is pivotal within the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team, ensuring that airframe systems meet rigorous design specifications and regulatory standards.

As part of the SEIT capability, you'll engage in a dynamic environment where innovation and precision are paramount. Your expertise will drive the integration and verification processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellence from concept through in-service support.


Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration and verification of airframe systems, ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements.
  • Develop and participate in flight test readiness reviews, test plans, and test matrices.
  • Coordinate with flight test points of contact for test execution, including coverage support and data collection for verification activities.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful integration.
  • Analyze test data, providing recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
  • Support the development of airframe specifications and requirements documentation.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Participate in design reviews, ensuring airframe systems are designed for testability and manufacturability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to airframe integration and verification.
  • Track and update task progress on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in airframe integration and verification, focusing on military or commercial aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of airframe systems, structures, and materials.
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to aircraft design and testing (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD).
  • Proficiency in engineering tools and software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
