About the Opportunity:

As an Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the airworthiness and quality of aircraft windows. What You'll Do

  • Aircraft Maintenance and Repair:
  • Remove existing windows, prep, and install new ones.
  • Address scratches, pits, and damage using orbital sanders.
  • Ensure high standards of airworthiness.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Respond to emergency AOG services.
  • Foster client relationships through daily interactions.
  • Manage airworthiness documentation and billing processes.
  • Administrative and Operational Duties:
  • Maintain parts traceability and sign off on work orders.
  • Conduct weekly expense reporting.
  • Keep workspace organized and adhere to company policies.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Expand the regional market for window services.
  • Work closely with customers to schedule services.
  • Secure purchase orders.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferably one year of experience in orbital sanding, auto body, or aircraft maintenance.
  • A&P License or AMT Certificate is advantageous.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using measuring devices, reading blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 70 pounds for prolonged periods.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, aircraft wings, and cockpits.
