A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Aircraft Mechanic. Position Type: Full-Time Contract
Duration: 6 months (Temp to hire)
Location: China Lake, CA As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor all maintenance actions required to support Avionics Work Center operations in accordance with CNAFINST 4790.2 series and associated government and Company instructions.

• Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MlM's), technical directives, and associated data packages.

• Make work assignments, tracks completion of assigned tasks, provide status updates and feedback to supervisory personnel, perform spot monitoring and corrections as needed for all Avionics Work Center functions and associated operations.

• Report any maintenance or disciplinary infractions to supervisory personnel.

• Investigate accident. incidents or infractions to discover root cause and recommend corrective actions including disciplinary actions to supervisory personnel.

• Ensure assigned personnel participate in FOD walkdowns, safety drills, training events and other scheduled events as directed by

• Must be a technically qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable individual who can exercise an appropriate level of responsibility in the Avionics area.

• Provide technical support to electronic project engineers, shall utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet daily flight schedule.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Ten years USN/USMC/USCG Organizational Level in USN/USMC O-Level maintenance in the specific T/M experience.

• Three years Organizational T/M experience on aircraft (36 months within last 7 years preferred).

• Completed the Navy Class C school for Airframes and hydraulic related systems on the Aircraft.

• Airframers Work Center CDl qualified.

• Experience as a Work Center Supervisor.
• Experience as Plane Captain, QAR, CDQAR, Flight Deck Coordinator strongly desired.

• Valid driver's license.

• Available to work any shift.

• Travel may be required. Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance Education Level:

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range : Between $40 to $45 per hour
