Aircraft Technician II, III, and IV

Location: Savannah, GA (8-hour 1st shift or 10-hour 2nd shift)

Full Time + Benefits

About the Role: As a Field Technician III, you will be part of our dedicated team based at other locations, supporting business and civil large aviation customers at our repair station shop and hangar in Greenfield, Indiana. Your primary responsibilities will include maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on aircraft engines. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, travel domestically and internationally up to 40%, and occasional on-call weekends once a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Comply with work scope instructions from Maintenance Operations Control.
  2. Disassemble, clean, re-assemble, and repair engines and modules.
  3. Obtain and maintain repair station inspection approvals.
  4. Lift up to approximately 50 pounds and pass a required eye exam.
  5. Use troubleshooting logic to identify defects in components or parts and access/use engine data materials (AMM, EMM, IPC, etc.).
  6. Understand, interpret, and apply Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances when applicable.

Basic Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, OR
  2. Associates Degree with 1+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience.
  3. FAA Airframe & Power Plant License.
  4. Successful completion of a FAA/DOT pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  5. Compliance with FAA-mandated rules on drug and alcohol use.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience with gas turbine engines.
  2. Experience in a FAR145 repair station.
  3. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
