Service Technician
Reports to: Service Manager
Summary:
The Field Service Technician will work on-site at customer locations to repair compressed air issues including air compressors, blowers, and vacuum pumps. Strong mechanical background desired, with the ability to properly diagnose and solve problems on a variety of compressor systems; some electrical experience is helpful. This person should have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work closely with customers to resolve issues in a timely manner, exceeding customer expectations and increasing overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with customers to resolve compressed air issues
Maintain up-to-date information related to compressor technology, with an ongoing focus on sharpening mechanical and diagnostic abilities to ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to learn how to assemble and disassemble compressors; to fully understand repair issues
Understand and abide by safety procedures and policies
Ability to quickly resource information/individuals when needing assistance to complete service calls
Work effectively with customers to ensure all customer expectations are met/exceeded. Willing to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications:
Strong mechanical background
1-3 years of service repair experience (automotive, machinery, etc.)
Experience as field service technician a plus
Experience or training in compressed air mechanics a plus
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure or deadlines
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
