Do you have experience with repairing portable air compressors? We're seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team, to help us troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial portable air compressors. This position will work in the field, out in the natural elements. If you have a passion for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on portable industrial air compressors, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose air compressors.

Safely perform machine repairs.

Inspect, repair, maintain, overhaul, and rebuild engines and air compressor components.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

3 or more years of experience with air compressor service and repair

OR

Graduation from an accredited technical school (minimum two-year program) with an emphasis on industrial equipment.

Skills and Competencies:

Thorough understanding of air compressors, diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance procedures.

Strong technical service skills and mechanical aptitude.

Experience with air compressors

Ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures for repairs and manufacturers updates.

Ability to work in a low-supervised environment and take direction from multiple supervisors.

Effective communication skills with customers, supervision, and dispatchers, both verbally and in writing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines with be required. Position functions require normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
