The Job

The AIH Visual Merchandising Analyst will design and implement visually appealing strategies for product displays and store seasonal layouts that attract customers and enhance their shopping experience. The major objective of this role is to improve and make the shopping experience great and simple, resulting on increased sales and brand awareness.


What you'll do:

  • Design and Implement Visual Display Strategies: Responsible for the development of display standards. Create and execute visually appealing product displays, POP Signage and seasonal store layouts. This requires a high level of creativity and an understanding of customer behavior to maximize product visibility and sales potential. Ensure that stores follow the standards with a hands-on constant follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, merchandisers, retail services, vendors and category managers to align visual merchandising strategies with overall business goals. This requires effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Conduct Store Visits: Perform regular visits to stores (own and competitors) to ensure that visual merchandising standards are being met and to gather insights for future improvements. This involves a mix of hands-on work and strategic analysis.
  • Monitor and Adjust Displays: Continuously monitor the performance of visual displays and adjust as needed to optimize sales and product understanding. This involves ongoing analysis and the ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Communication: The output of this position will significantly impact on corporate business partners and retailers. Clear communication is critical.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Brand Standards: Maintaining consistency in visual presentation across all locations and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. This requires attention to detail and the ability to enforce standards.
  • Budget: This position is key to the budget alignment, so negotiation skills are required.

What you will need:

Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • Formal Education : A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, visual merchandising, or a related field.
  • Previous Work Experience : 2-4 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail management, or a related field is required. Experience in analyzing sales data and market trends is highly beneficial.
  • Creativity and Design Skills : A keen eye for design and aesthetics to create visually appealing projects that attract customers and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including buyers, merchandisers, and marketing professionals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using merchandising / design software and tools, as well as standard office software like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that all displays meet company standards and effectively showcase products.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Driven with a sense of urgency
  • Project budget responsibility
  • Availability for travel
