This is a contingent position based upon contract award KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an AI/ML Systems Engineer. If you have a passion for systems engineering and the integration of new technologies such as AI/ML, this is the perfect opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to impactful projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and apply systems engineering products and analyses to support requirement development, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of AI/ML capabilities.
Develop AI/ML concept plans, including requirements and conceptual planning.
Assist in the design and development of AI algorithms.
Develop and maintain a Machine Learning (ML) pipeline to collect, tag, and analyze data, and train algorithms to improve maturity and accuracy.
Lead and manage multifunctional teams, ensuring the successful integration of complex systems
Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical support staff
Conduct technology trade studies to research, analyze, and evaluate various options, documenting results to determine the best value solution for specific problems
Perform engineering investigations of considerable complexity to resolve technical issues
Review literature, patents, and current practices to inform solutions for assigned projects
Oversee the completion and implementation of system enhancements, recommending technical corrections and improvements to management Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively complex systems design, acquisition, and test experience
TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in systems or electrical engineering preferred.
Systems Engineering certification from INCOSE or DAWIA preferred.
10 years of experience in AI/ML preferred. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
