Must haves:
5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, with 4+ years in an architectural or leadership role.
Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), programming languages (Python, Java, etc.), and cloud AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
Experience with MLOps, data pipelines, and real-time inference systems.
Solid understanding of data governance, model risk management, and responsible AI principles.
Proven ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Plusses:
Experience with GenAI (e.g., LLMs, transformers) and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architecture.
Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

This individual will be joining an established Financial Technology group within the Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be responsible for ingesting business goals into AI strategies, designing the scalable roadmaps and architectures, and ushering cross-functional teams through implementation. The ideal candidate will be someone who combines deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strong strategic skills. This individual must have excellent communication and presentation skills, as they will be working with technology executives on a regular basis.
