Overview Your Impact: Publicis Sapient is seeking an AI Machine Learning Engineer to strengthen our Data Science division. As a key member of the team, you'll lead the development of data-driven solutions powered by cutting-edge learning algorithms, with a special focus on integrating advanced AI methodologies into our workflow. Your role involves implementing conceptual models for problem-solving within the machine learning domain and translating organizational objectives into actionable data-driven strategies. This position plays a crucial role in advancing the application of machine learning as a foundational tool for addressing real-world business challenges. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning research and engineering, where you'll help us experiment, prototype, and build smart solutions using modern AI techniques.
You'll work on challenging, practical problems, like making autocomplete faster, improving LLM-based systems for code and text, or experimenting with small models under real-world constraints like limited infra or data.

Qualifications Your Experience: - Experience across public clouds is mandatory (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake) is mandatory
- Deploying or hosting large models using frameworks like vLLM, TGI, Ray, or BentoML
- Fine-tuning or training LLMs / vision models (SLMs, VLMs, etc.)
- Experience building with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus)
- Working with prompt engineering and agentic frameworks (e.g., MetaGPT, AutoGPT)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and open to new ways of learning
- Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Process oriented with the ability to define and set up processes
- Curious, hands-on, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Enjoys solving real-world problems without over-engineering
- Hands-on and comfortable with quick prototyping
- Curious about new tools and open-source developments

Additional information The pay range: $123,000-153,000. The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
