AI Full Stack Engineer

R&D division of a Fortune 500 financial SaaS firm, is bringing on multiple AI Full Stack Engineers for its Mclean based operations(hybrid with potential for remote), who will work on projects centered around the prevention of high-level crime. A few responsibilities include: building out AI-driven applications, implementing back-end services(Python, Java) that integrate with ML models/API's/databases, and collaborating with Data Science teams to deploy and scale AI/ML models. The ideal candidate will be well versed with Python and have worked with LLM's and AI frameworks(LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.), containerization tools, as well as front-end and back-end development. As a note, this is a contract position with potential to convert to full-time after 1 year.

Preferred:

- Bachelor's degree in related field

- Proficient with Python and FastAPI

- Experience with AI agentic patterns and frameworks

- Experience with frameworks such as: LangChain, Hugging Face, GPT, or similar

- Familiarity with databases(SQL, NoSQL) and API development

- Experience building ML training models and algorithms

- Background with generative AI, including transformers and/or LLM project work

- Experience with DevOps deployment sand containerization with Docker and/or K8's

Great to have:

- Master's degree/PHD in related field

- Experience finetuning LLM's

- Experience with NLP libraries such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.

- Well versed with Javascript, Html, Css and modern front-end frameworks: React, Vue, Angular

- Proficient with Java, Go, Node.js, and/or Typescript

- Background with microservice architecture and cloud technologies
