Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer
Full Time
Hybrid (2 days remote and 3 days in-office)
Wolverhampton
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience, above market rate.
Responsibilities could include but aren't limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain AI systems to enhance product offerings and customer interactions.
- Conduct research and experimentation to improve AI algorithms and models.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver AI solutions that align with company values and missions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed AI systems for performance and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with team members, including leaders, to share ideas, discuss problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and qualities which are preferred but not essential:
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and AI technologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge ideas and processes.
- Positive attitude, respectfulness, and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and maintain tidiness in physical and digital environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and escalate issues when necessary.
This role could be suited to a recent graduate or someone who may not have commercial experience but can prove the passion and interest they have for the topic.
