Location: MountLake Terrace, WA
Senior AI Engineer to lead and contribute to upcoming AI initiatives with our client. This role will play a critical part in designing, integrating, and refining AI solutions using Google Bard for various internal projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with LLM (Large Language Model) integrations, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and will be comfortable guiding junior collaborators while owning architectural planning responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize AI solutions for call recording transcription summarization, categorization, and next best action recommendations leveraging Google Bard.

• Lead the creation of doctor insurance claims appeal document summarization models with basic judgment assessments.

• Collaborate on the planning and potential future implementation of internal chatbots that integrate with multiple documentation and help resources.

• Develop and fine-tune prompt engineering strategies for AI model performance improvements.

• Implement RAG pipelines to enable dynamic, context-based model outputs using external data sources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, and cybersecurity teams, to deliver secure and compliant AI solutions.

• Ensure all AI models adhere to GDPR and HIPAA compliance standards.

• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and training on best practices in AI engineering.

• Contribute to project architecture, documentation, and technical roadmaps.

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.

• Proven experience working with LLM-based solutions such as Google Bard (experience with other models like GPT-4o is a plus but not required).

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG frameworks, and LLM model integrations.

• Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and text summarization techniques.

• Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks including GDPR and HIPAA.

• Proficiency in Python, API integrations, and cloud-based AI services.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in mentoring junior engineers and driving project ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with conversational AI/chatbot development.

• Background in healthcare or insurance industries.
