Company Description
Build an industry leading AI-as-a-service platform as part of a top tier global team funded by the world's top investors. Work on cutting edge new product development, with a highly skilled and committed team that delivers excellence in AI performance and flexibility.
By combining proprietary hardware with accelerated software and orchestration, Runware delivers blazing-fast image generation at incredibly low cost. No image degradation, just supercharged image generation through a well-designed API that supports the entire Flux and Stable Diffusion ecosystem, including technologies like ControlNet, LoRAs, IP-Adapters, InstantID, and more.
About the Role
We're looking for a Community Manager to grow and engage the Runware community across Discord, Reddit, X/Twitter, and beyond. You'll be the connector between the product and the people-sharing updates, gathering feedback, highlighting cool projects, and helping users get the most out of Runware.
This is a hands-on role that blends technical curiosity, social media instincts, and a builder mindset. You'll work closely with product, growth, and DevRel to shape the voice of Runware, activate our power users, and drive community-led growth. If you're plugged into AI Discords, browse Reddit for fun, or have ever launched a microsite "just to see what happens"-you'll feel right at home here.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage and grow our Discord server, Reddit presence, and other AI/developer community touchpoints.
- Create and schedule engaging content across social platforms-memes, updates, user shoutouts, tutorials, etc.
- Highlight community projects and help power users share their work more broadly.
- Answer questions, troubleshoot common issues, and help guide users toward key features or workflows.
- Organize mini-campaigns and community initiatives (e.g. theme weeks, spotlight posts, lightweight contests).
- Collaborate with growth and DevRel to amplify product launches, technical demos, and viral microsites.
- Surface feedback and trends from the community to product and engineering.
- Keep our public-facing tone fun, helpful, and technically credible.
- Track key engagement metrics and help grow our community in a sustainable, authentic way.
Requirements
- 3+ years in community management, social media, or user-facing content roles-ideally with a technical or creator-driven product.
- Deep familiarity with generative AI tools, especially image generation workflows and open-source models.
- Active participant in online communities-Discords, Reddit subs, dev forums, etc.
- Strong written communication skills-capable of writing fast, fun, helpful content for a developer audience.
- Experience running social accounts (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and posting with a consistent voice.
- Comfortable using tools like Figma to collaborate on visual content or campaign assets.
- Bonus: light experience with prompt engineering, image generation tools like ComfyUI, or building in public.
