This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning operational workflows within different cloud environments, with AWS Cloud Landscape being the primary. This role would be working closely with the AI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business to suggest, design, and implement end to end automated capabilities in a secure manner for the organization to consume. The role involves primarily leveraging AWS services, modern AI frameworks, and automation tools to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and manage AI/ML pipelines using AWS services like but not limited to Bedrock, Sagemaker, Vector DB's (pgvector Kendra or OpenSearch)
  • Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines using LangChain, HayStack or AutoGen, including data ingestion, embedding generation, retrieval, and generation components
  • Design autonomous agent architectures using AutoGen, LangGraph etc, implementing optimized prompt engineering patterns and agent communication protocols.
  • Explore and implement new LLM architectures and techniques to enhance RAG capabilities using AWS Bedrock
  • Integrate and fine-tune Hugging Face Transformers models within LangChain workflows for various NLP tasks
  • Design and optimize cloud infrastructure used for AI and RAG capabilities with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices to automate deployments and operations.
  • Enable data scientists to explore data, test hypotheses, and share insights efficiently using Pytorch and Jupyter notebooks
  • Work closely with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI capabilities that meet business needs.
  • Set up system monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 12+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a VP level role or external equivalent.
  • Expertise in AWS services primarily AWS Bedrock, Sagemaker, Glue, S3, IAM, Vector Databases - PGVector, Opensearch or Kendra.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java or JavaScript.
  • Experience withAI/ MLOps platforms (Langchain, MLflow, Kubeflow, DSPy.)
  • Knowledge of distributed computing systems and large-scale data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
  • In-depth knowledge on any of the GIT platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker).
  • Advanced knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Background in data science or machine learning lifecycle management.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$130,000.00 - $200,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
