Agronomy Accountant

Job Description:

The Agronomy Accounting role includes invoicing customers, entering payables, processing vendor payments, assisting salespeople and other duties as assigned.

Hours: 8am-5pm

Location: Elkhorn, WI

Pay: $18-$21/hour based on experience

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise records of customer and vendor payments, invoices, and other financial records
• Prepare customer invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain historical records by creating PDF's and e-filing documents.
• Provide superior customer service
• Additional duties as assigned by location manager

Requirements

Education, Certification and Experience:

• Required - High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Associate's Degree in Accounting
• Preferred- Customer Service experience

Skills:

• Required - Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Required - Above average communication and organizational skills
• Required - Strong ability to multi-task, work independently and problem solve.
• Required - Excellent time management
• Required - Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
