banking, insurance, or fintech, and tperson ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact initiatives. This role requires a blend of Agile best practices, project management skills, and financial industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage Agile projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions in banking, insurance, or fintech.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to align project objectives with business goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and risk management strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and resolving roadblocks that impact project delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in financial services.
- Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes.
- Ensure alignment with financial regulations (e.g., Basel, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS) and risk management frameworks.
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
Required Qualifications & Skills: - 7+ years of experience in project management within tperson financial services industry.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Knowledge of banking operations, payments, lending, insurance, wealth management, or capital markets.
- Understanding of cloud-based financial platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices architecture is a plus.
- Experience working in regulatory-driven projects within finance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in data migration, digital transformation, or financial technology implementations.
- Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices in finance.
- Exposure to Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, Spotify Model, or Nexus).
- Ability to work with remote and global teams across different time zones.
