Agile Project Manager

Job Description

Senior Agile Project Manager is responsible for providing project management oversight and driving flawless execution of Business Transformation strategic initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of approximately 4-6 medium to large business and/or technology focused initiatives concurrently in a highly regulated environment. Delivery teams operate in a mix of waterfall, hybrid, and Agile approaches, necessitating the flexibility to adapt and perform as a servant leader, facilitator, seasoned project manager, and program manager as required.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented with proven experience with setting realistic expectations with stakeholders to address delivery dependencies, managing complex risk, decision, and issue remediation. S/he must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage conflicts, negotiate/juggle deadlines, and build partnerships both within and outside of Insurance Solutions. Areas of emphasis also include removing obstacles, leveraging experiences to anticipate needs, eliminating waste, and driving consumer-centric and value-oriented outcomes.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree or 10 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree

5+ years as Project Manager leading or managing medium to large scale projects

Proven experience managing end-to-end execution and delivering results on highly visible, cross-functional initiatives from initiation to launch

Strong business and technology acumen with demonstrated ability to build collaborative cross-team partnerships, plan and execute complex solutions delivery to meet organization objectives

Excellent communications (interpersonal, oral and written) and meeting facilitation skills

Demonstrated project delivery experience in an Agile framework and culture

Experience with SAFe, Scrum, Lean or Kanban methodologies null
