AGILE PROGRAM MANAGER - AUTOMOTIVE
Location: Hybrid, Auburn Hills, MI
HOURLY RATE: $65/Hr. range. W2, Benefits Available. C2C is OK
ALTA IT Services has a 6-month+ contract opening for an Agile Program Manager with automotive OEM experience to a respected automobile OEM. This role requires on-site work 3 days a week in Auburn Hills, MI.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Domain knowledge: 5+ years of automotive domain experience and exposure to connected/autonomous vehicles would be a big plus
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing mid/large IT projects (2 M+ in terms of revenue OR 20+ in terms of team size).
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Hands-on, Self-driven, solution-oriented, and customer-focused
- Highly proficient analytical capabilities and able to quickly understand problems and arrive at their solution. Foresight decision-making is a key to success in this role.
- Solid understanding of core and modern technologies around Cloud, APIs, and Web services
- Demonstrate ownership and drive successful outcomes in complex global ecosystems
- Proven track record leading in highly matrixed global organizations
- Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug, and arrive at solutions
- Full System Lifecycle expertise and experience in all aspects from planning to operations.
- Communication skills - Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Education and Years of Experience:
- Years of Experience: 10+ in the Automotive industry
- 5+ years' Program/Project Management experience
- 2+ years' experience in status reporting to C-suite executives
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of core and modern technologies around Cloud, APIs, Web-services
