Essential skills required to carry out the role of an Agile Product Owner- Journey Tribe include but are not limited to:
- Experience in product management, product strategy, and execution.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, ideally with certifications.
- Expertise in balancing product functionality with user desirability, ensuring the product features are not just technically sound but also user-friendly.
- Experience and understanding of customer and client journeys.
- Knowledge of the operational and technical processes supporting key customer journeys (e.g., onboarding, identity verification, fraud processes).
Desirable skills include:
- Understanding of Human Centred Design and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience in operating within a multi-geographic, matrix organisation, balancing commercial, client, and regulatory needs.
- Industry-recognised Business Analysis qualification.
- Experience leading and nurturing teams through cultural transformation towards a client-centric approach.

This role can be based in Glasgow, Northampton, or Knutsford.
Purpose of the role
To collaborate with product owners and technical teams to utilize their knowledge of bank technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
Accountabilities
- Provide subject matter expertise to support collaboration between the product owner and technical teams.
- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and communicate it to stakeholders and the development team.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on business value and feasibility.
- Develop assessments for continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
- Monitor product performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends to evaluate and adopt new approaches.
