Are you a seasoned Agile Coach who thrives on making meaningful change in a short timeframe? Trissential is hiring an Agile Coach to lead a strategic 13-week engagement with our client. You'll drive assessment, coaching, and agile maturity transformation for cross-functional teams and Product Owners (POs). Your Role & Responsibilities
Phase 1: Initiate & Assess (Weeks 1-4)
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, observe teams, and review toolchains
• Develop an initial assessment report outlining key pain points and team dynamics
• Establish leadership buy-in and a baseline for team engagement
Phase 2: Coach & Improve (Weeks 5-9)
• Provide hands-on coaching to teams and Product Owners to improve execution and alignment
• Clarify roles and responsibilities, refine backlogs, and introduce meaningful metrics
• Deliver tactical improvement plans and coaching documentation
Phase 3: Roadmap & Scale (Weeks 10-11)
• Facilitate workshops to co-create a future state vision
• Introduce Human-Centered AI strategies for team performance
• Deliver an Agile/Product Improvement Roadmap and AI recommendations
Phase 4: Sustain & Transition (Weeks 12-13)
• Plan for transition to internal coaching and continuous improvement
• Develop "coach-the-coach" materials to build internal capability
• Ensure sustainable practices and internalized agile mindset across the org
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
• 6+ years of experience coaching Agile teams and leaders across varying maturity levels
• Strong facilitation skills for retrospectives, workshops, and stakeholder sessions
• Project Management or Product Owner Certification
• Expertise in Product Owner coaching, backlog refinement, and agile metrics
• Ability to quickly assess team dynamics, culture, and performance indicators
• Proven success delivering tangible change in a time-boxed engagement
• Ability to gain trust and partner quickly
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience introducing AI or Human-Centered Design into agile workflows
• Certifications such as ICP-ACC, SAFe Program Consultant, or Certified Scrum Professional
• Background in enterprise-level agile transformations
Education & Certifications You Need:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Agile coaching certification(s) strongly preferred
