Job Title: Aftermarket Sales Coordinator
Department: Aftermarket Sales
Reports To: VP of Sales
Exemption Classification: Hourly, Non-exempt
Summary: Address requests from customers for pricing and availability on aftermarket parts, chemistry and manuals. Requests may come in the form of a phone call, email or website inquiry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM DUTIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls from customers needing assistance with pricing and availability for a part or a manual.
- Prepare quotes for parts, chemistry and manuals
- Assist customers with placing aftermarket orders
- Follow-up on materials after they are order and expedite if required
- Follow-up on past quotes with customer on that have been completed
- Review all orders and shipping addresses for mistakes prior to releasing orders.
- Monitor and answer questions from the webpage chat line
- Monitor the AM orders email for orders and or questions and respond as necessary
- Work closely with the shipping, receiving, suppliers and purchasing to ensure orders are placed, received and then shipped.
- Some accounting responsibility may be required, including invoicing.
- Following up past dues accounts and running credit card payments.
- Complete spares parts pricing and update pricing as needed.
- Other functions as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervision over others
Qualifications/Skills: Past inside sales or customer support experience is a benefit.
Education and/or Experience: Must be organized with knowledge of PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, especially Excel), accurate data entry skills and ability to work under pressure.
Language Skills: Communicate verbally and/or in writing with other employees, other departments and supervision as to work in progress, problems and/or completion.
Mathematical Skills: High School level
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: None Required
Physical Demands: Sit at workstation for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to adjust visual focus. May be required to reach, stoop and/or bend on an as needed basis. Must be able to climb stairs as necessary. Some light lifting may be required.
Work Environment: Traditional office atmosphere. Temperature standard. Quiet noise level.
