JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this role is to achieve sustained profitability, Aftermarket growth, increased capture rate and customer satisfaction for SPX FLOW Mixing technology & products through the planning, forecasting, and marketing of products and solutions related to our Aftermarket Trojan Tool Programs (ie, MMR, MOHR, future TBD) This involves working at both a strategic and tactical level across all relevant markets and regions globally. This role will work with the Aftermarket Team, Global OE Market Managers, and global Commercial teams to train, deploy, ensure adoption, obtain desired growth, enhance, and improve the Trojan tool programs to achieve growth objectives.
Success in this role requires a comprehensive ownership of the programs from development, goal assignment, training, execution, tooling, adoption and implementation. A successful candidate will motivate the Commercial team to meet the growth of Aftermarket KPIs. The incumbent will engage in and reflect strong leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement, with disciplined practices and processes that deliver results.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Product Line Strategy, Planning, and Customer Facing - Define value proposition / product differentiation that provides competitive advantage for the target product
- Develop, maintain and gain approval for product line strategies and plans. Ensure the strategic alignment with company strategies
- Through on-going customer and marketplace interaction, define and document customer value propositions for new products, as well as desired changes/enhancements for existing products
- Collaborate internally and externally to scope & define product requirements
- Work directly on A accounts, B to A opportunities, Raving Fans, 1 to Perfect, key accounts with Key Account managers, RSL's, RSM's, ASM's and agents to implement.
- Integrate with other Aftermarket programs as appropriate.
- Establish scalability of the programs, balancing internal resource limitations with growth goals
- Identify target industries, accounts, sites to deploy associated Aftermarket programs
- Create growth plans for Commercial teams that increase capture rate of Aftermarket opportunities such as parts, replacement gearboxes, services, etc
New Product Development - Manage product launches according to defined development stage gates
- Lead and involve project teams in post-launch after action reviews, and ensure relevant learning is captured, shared and acted upon
- Establish SOP for consistent execution and necessary support team associated with their implementation and final work product generation
Product Lifecycle Management - Gather and analyze product performance, including financial, technical and operational data to identify and quantify opportunities for growth, new product and existing product improvement opportunities
- Develop product lifecycle management roadmaps for products already in the market
- Identify the need for service product extensions and next generation service product initiatives
- Ensure products achieve targeted price margins
- Develop program enhancements with the aim of scalability for mass deployment and implementation
- Work cross functionally with teams to enhance the conversion rate of identified opportunities via tools such as eXpress App, eSales, C4C, SAP, etc
- Manges the paginated reports out of Power BI dashboard to ensure timely presentation of materials and consistent value-added message to our global customers
Product Training and Promotion - Define, implement and maintain Product Training plan
- Provide technical and commercial support to Sales and Operations as required
- Assist with development of promotional strategies based on marketing research and competitive analysis; implement these strategies in conjunction with Sales and Marketing to establish and maintain market position
- Provide direction to Marketing communications for sales collateral
- Support promotion of the product externally with customers, partners, & media
- Deliver Product training (internal & external)
- Maintain critical KPIs and review with stakeholders to no later than monthly through the development of a transparent venue such as Power BI dashboard
- Responsible for build-out as well as broad deployment and adoption through our Commercial, Operations and Service channels as applicable globally
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal personnel, sales representatives, and customers
- Possesses general understanding of value propositions related to the manufacture of products and the impacts and contributors of equipment outages and or failures
- Good oral and written communications skills including the ability to provide succinct and accurate technical communication
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and present alternative solutions
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP and other technical applications)
- Possess strategic thinking abilities
- Possess analytical abilities to interpret data and assemble the data to articulate a story
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Engineering field, Business Development from four-year College or university; and minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
