Affiliate Marketing Manager

Job Overview:


The Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for the evolution and growth of all aspects of our North American online affiliate program. The successful candidate will help shape our affiliate channel strategy and be accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing affiliates in order to attain channel targets. The ideal Affiliate Marketing Manager will be passionate about growing the business and should be accustomed to interfacing with key decision makers.


We are seeking a focused, reliable multi-tasker who can quickly deliver in a fast-paced marketing department and is excited to share new ideas and collaborate with team members to grow the brand. This role is a great opportunity to join a growing travel industry leader and participate in a dynamic B2C environment.


Auto Europe is a well-established travel industry leader, founded in 1954 and servicing over 1 million travelers annually. Our footprint spans the globe with main offices in Portland, Maine, Lisbon, Munich and Sydney.

This role can be performed partially remotely but in-office time will be required, seeking candidates in ME, NH or northern MA.


Responsibilities include:

  • Management and optimization of the online affiliate marketing program.
  • Identifying, evaluating and recruiting new online affiliate partners.
  • Developing strategies to engage active and inactive affiliates and build strong relationships.
  • Showcasing the company's offerings, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions and work effectively to deliver these key messages to the marketplace.
  • Identifying the competitive strengths and weaknesses of the program and making recommendations to constantly improve.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving the affiliate portal, tools and communications.
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in managing affiliate programs, digital marketing, performance-based marketing and/or business development
  • Ability to effectively present and build relationships with key decision makers via digital channels
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technologies for reporting
  • Knowledge of online affiliate and referral models including CPA, CPC, CPL, CPM
  • Knowledge of tracking referrals (e.g. cookie expiration, last click)
  • Experience managing an affiliate program through CJ, Rakuten, Awin, or similar a plus
  • The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
