Job Summary:
The Department of Education at Regis University invites applications to fill Affiliate Faculty roles for our partnership with 27J Schools beginning in February, 2025. Affiliate Faculty members, also known as adjunct or part-time faculty members, are hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, dependent on student enrollment, and will facilitate learning for practicing teachers on the basis of adult learning principles.

Please note that only current 27J administrators will be considered for these positions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Affiliate Faculty member will facilitate classes in the semester, 8-week, and/or intensive formats.

Duties include:

- Aligning content in classes consistent with school and department policies

- Providing instruction in assigned classes consistent with the learning objectives of the course syllabus

- Being available to students in assigned classes to provide academic support

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's degree in the field of Education

- 6 years of experience as a school administrator as a principal or above

- Current administrator position in 27J Schools

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated understanding of the adult learner

- Online teaching experience

- Collaborative attitude and a belief in project learning

This position is benefits-eligible for workers' compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
