Duties Serve as an expert in fixed wing flight performance and mass properties (fixed wing and rotary wing) and evaluate the airworthiness qualification of systems and subsystems aboard current and future Army aircraft. Oversee the review of design and detailed analysis; development of airworthiness requirements; and technical evaluations of reports and data. Oversee the analyses used to substantiate airworthiness requirements for fixed wing aircraft flight performance/mass properties (fixed wing and rotary wing). Provide expertise in leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required to foster a healthy and positive working environment within the organization Assign, manage, and track tasks to ensure that all the technical responses are accurate, timely, and resolve any technical issues that arise Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
