Aerospace Engineer Chief Architect with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and support to a Government acquisition. This role provides technical expertise applied across the spacecraft development life cycle from concept design through vehicle delivery. The Chief Systems Engineer will facilitate the test, rehearsal, & transition of space systems and enterprise operational ground command systems from development through initialization The ideal candidate should be familiar with a wide range of GEOINT systems and software suites The position is collocated with the customer and requires the ability to build customer relationships and provide technical advice and assistance. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly Requires a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics, with 10 or more years combined relevant, work related experience. Aerospace systems engineering expertise Strong proficiency in standard design tools applied to DevSecOps Demonstrated performance working in a high visibility position that requires self-motivation; strong technical and leadership background Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, for interactions with military and government civilian personnel Desired Qualifications: DoD and NRO Space experience Recent experience as a Chief Engineer working enterprise GEOINT mission integration SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
