CTS International is seeking a highly motivated Aero Integration & Verification Engineer 2 to join our dynamic team supporting the T-7 platform in the St. Louis, MO region. As a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team, you will lead the integration and verification activities of aero systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in system integration and testing.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration and verification of aero systems, ensuring alignment with performance and safety specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including flight test readiness reviews and test matrices.
  • Coordinate with flight test points of contact for test execution, data collection, and verification activities.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Analyze test data to provide recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
  • Support the development of aero system specifications and requirements documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in design reviews, ensuring systems are designed for testability and manufacturability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to aero integration and verification.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, stakeholders, and peers to ensure project alignment.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aero integration and verification, focusing on military or commercial aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of airframe systems, structures, and materials.
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to aircraft design and testing (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD).
  • Proficiency in engineering tools and software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
