As a Sr. IT Architect here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and driving the architectural design of complex software systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability. You will report directly to our Sr. IT Manager, and you'll work out of our either Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop technical solutions for our company's portal using AEM, Java Spring and microservices architecture.
- Ensure that technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained throughout the development process.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to improve our company's portal.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development process.

MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in AEM and/or microservices using Java Spring framework development, including designing, developing, and maintaining AEM solutions (business and presentation logic)
- Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, & JS, OSGi, Git repositories, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development.
WE VALUE
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SAFe is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with other products SAP Hybris, Apigee, elastic search, ETL development is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
