Key Responsibilities:- Lead and conduct research to explore new products, technologies, and processes, while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Plan, perform, and analyze experiments, utilizing advanced analytical methods and tools to develop and refine prototypes and materials.
- Produce GC Columns in support of the new product development and basic research.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and outcomes clearly and accurately, contributing to high-quality reports, product documentation, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully transfer new products into production, ensuring processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.
- Share expertise and insights by preparing technical articles, presenting findings at conferences, and contributing to industry conversations that highlight Restek's innovation.
- Continuously grow your knowledge and skills through learning opportunities, staying current with industry trends, technologies, and practices.
- Champion safety and quality by following Restek's Environmental Health and Safety guidelines and best practices in laboratory and production environments.
- Represent Restek's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork, and Respect in all interactions, leading by example.
Qualifications:Education and ExperienceTypically requires a Ph.D. or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of chromatography principles and analytical techniques is necessary for success in this role.

- Ability to plan and conduct experiments independently, analyze complex data, and present findings clearly.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
