Role: Provides primary care to patients as an assistant to physicians in a clinic setting.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Conducts physical exams and collaborates with physicians on patient care. Interprets data for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Obtains medical histories and reviews patient records. Orders lab tests and administers medications as directed. Educates patients on health and illness prevention. Maintains patient records and triages calls. Engages in professional development activities. Qualifications:
2-5 years of primary care experience preferred. Requires a college degree and licensure as APRN, NP, or PA. Work Environment:
Involves prolonged standing, lifting, and exposure to communicable diseases. Requires normal visual acuity and the ability to work under stress.
