Holbrook and Shotley Practice, located in Ipswich, offers an opportunity for an ANP to join their established team. The role is ideally full-time, but part-time applicants are also welcome to apply.
This position provides a chance to enhance your experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Respond to referrals, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment at first point of contact, either in the practice or in patients' homes.
- Support and further develop the on-the-day emergency patient service within the practice.
- Accurately triage and prioritize patients, including emergency cases and telephone triage, using various techniques to gather comprehensive patient histories.
- Evaluate clinical information from examinations and history-taking, initiating appropriate treatment or referrals.
- Review treatment effectiveness and adjust as necessary to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records efficiently.

Person Specification Qualifications
- Registration with a relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC, or GPhC.
Experience
- Post-registration experience, preferably in primary care.
- Knowledge of a broad range of complex and common conditions in adults and children.
