As an
Advanced Modeling Principal Engineer at Micron, you will apply your expertise in the areas of computational engineering and ML/AI to test and deploy innovative modeling (w/ AI) solutions that provide business value in technology development and manufacturing. You will have the opportunity and expectation to continuously uplevel your skills and timely deliver high-impact solutions to technology and products group.
Responsibilities: - Develop digital twins for fab technology co-optimization coveringwafer, die, and package level models across tech nodes.
- Collaborate with global teams to developand deploy solutions to accelerate design, technology, and product development.
- Draw from a broad background of computational and Gen-AI techniques to train robust models with sparsedatasets.
- Identify insights from predictive modeling and images/data, interpret, and efficiently communicate findings to engineering teams and senior leaders.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master's years or PhD +7 years or equivalent experience in Engineering,Computer Science, Data Science,Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Numerical Methods, High Performance Computing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence algorithms
- Experienced in innovativeMultiphysics and Multiscale modeling methods and ML/DL/AI libraries working with high dimensional and dynamic datasets
- Experience in computational materials,process, structure, and mechanics modeling
- Proficient in Linux, C , Python working in Cloud or HPC environment
- Familiar with SQL, data engineering, and various cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Proven experience and or knowledge in the semiconductor industry is helpful
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the memory industry is helpful
- Previous experience as Process or PI engineerwill be an asset
- Sophisticated skills in multiscale stress and thermomechanical modeling
- Experience with enterprise level user documentation and presentations to senior leaders
