The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterology at our Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center.

What You Can Expect:



  • Utilize proficiency in ERCP, EUS, enteral stenting, and EMR. Additional therapeutic endoscopy skills are welcome.

  • Provide care outpatient consultative & endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work-life balance

  • Conduct routine endoscopy & colonoscopy, and participate in Gastroenterology hospital call

  • Provide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visits

  • Access to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment

  • Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers

  • Provide inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals

  • Work with an experienced support staff

  • Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired

  • A physician-friendly EMR (electronic medical record) system


Minimum Requirements:



  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology

  • Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training

  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

    The starting annual salary for this position is $575,000 which considers an applicant s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
