This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems, power control circuits, and supporting electronic hardware.
Perform integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical components and systems.
Conduct trade studies to determine optimal system architectures using industry-standard components and technologies.
Design and test PCB-based electronics and cable assemblies for military applications.
Develop test criteria and support test system design for validation activities.
Create technical documentation including interface definitions, design specifications, and reports.
Prepare technical presentations and provide written recommendations to internal stakeholders and Navy customers.
Contribute to the development and qualification of military-grade electronics such as the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field required; Master's degree with 3+ years or Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
Experience across the full engineering development lifecycle-concept, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-1399 and MIL-STD-461 design and qualification standards.
Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design, including switch-mode DC-DC converters and 3-phase AC-DC systems.
Familiarity with communication interfaces such as RS-422, RS-485, and LVDS.
Experience using lab equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
Expertise in all phases of PCB design including component selection, SPICE and power analysis, schematic entry, and collaboration with layout teams.
