Adult Learner Enrollment Coach

What You'll Do
The Adult Learner Enrollment Coach will recruit, support, and guide adult learners through the enrollment process and their educational journey. This role emphasizes outreach, connecting with prospective students, and offering personalized support to help adult learners overcome obstacles and achieve their academic and career goals.

Outreach & Recruitment:

• Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies for adult learners, including working professionals, parents, career changers, and underrepresented populations.

• Conduct outreach efforts through community partnerships, local businesses, workforce development agencies, and social service organizations.

• Organize and participate in workshops and information sessions specific to adult learners.

• Maintain relationships with prospective students, providing guidance on enrollment, financial aid, and academic programs.

• Collaborate with the TSC Pathways and CTE advisors on advising and registration into career and technical education programs.

Student Support & Success:

• Assist adult learners in navigating the admissions, registration, and financial aid processes, including the re-enrollment of adult learners who have stopped out and are returning to TSC.

• Provide individualized coaching and support to help students overcome common barriers such as childcare, transportation, work-life balance, and technology access.

• Connect students to campus and community resources.

• Track and analyze data on adult learner engagement, retention, and success to inform continuous improvement.

• Assist in the development of marketing materials and communication strategies tailored to adult learners.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience working with diverse populations and adult learners or a combination of education and/or experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual communication tools. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, and inspire both prospective and current students.

• Experience in student recruitment, advising, or support services, preferably with adult learners or nontraditional students. Ability to build partnerships with community organizations, employers, and other key stakeholders.
