The School of Nursing at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for an open rank general track faculty position with experience in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care specialty (AGACNP or ACNP-BC). Candidates interested in a 12-month full-time faculty appointment are encouraged to apply., with an anticipated start date of July, 2024. This is a teaching focused position with significant duties teaching in our APRN program but opportunities to teach at all levels. In addition to teaching, there are also opportunities for service, practice, scholarship, and other administrative duties related to student advising. Working among the nation's best nurse scholars, academics and students, the incumbent will prepare the next generation of nurses. Rank and compensation are dependent upon education, experience, and scholarship. The anticipated start date of this faculty position is summer 2024 or as soon as possible.
